Often voted top 5 best cafe in town. It sits in a residential neighborhood, surrounded by a couple of eateries at each corner of this quaint intersection, in Montreal's Little Italy. I occasionally go there for my weekend morning espresso or latte.

I had a latte and a chocolate Gelato, they were the best coffee and Gelato I had in forever. The latte was perfectly balanced and extremely tasty. The gelato was creamy and had a great taste and texture. The employees are very skilled and friendly.Definitely recommend.

Most authentic espresso in little Italy, and probably all if Montreal. Where you see a cafe frequented by senior Italuan ladies & gentlemen gentlemen you know your going to have a decent cup of espresso, stretto of course!.

Great little Italian cafe

The foam on the cappuccino is amazing.Awesome coffee, simple layout.Commercial music playing all day is the only downside, but you can chill outside in the huge terrasse on Dante, where most people drink their coffee during a nice day. It’s not such a busy street.

Best coffee shop in town<3 Classic Italian coffe shop where everyone knows your name and maybe a bit or your business loll The coffee is excellent, ask for a glass of water and get the classic sparkling ;) and they always know how to make their customers smile. Deft a must if you are a coffee lover and are in town.

My favorite coffee place in Montreal

Very traditional Italian coffee bar, it'll make you feel like you're in the heart of Rome. The coffee is good and served in smaller sizes typical of Italian coffee bars - you will not find 16oz American style coffees here. They carry an assortment of baked goods to go with the coffee - the brioche was fantastic. They take cash only!

Tasty coffee

Still open during a pandemic, as of 25/04/2020. Completely irresponsible and reckless. Hopefully no one caught or spread the virus or died due to this. Pretty hard to support them after this.

Also don't know where all the hundreds of reviews went; used to have a solid 4.8 though.This place is my absolute favorite for classic italian espresso drinks and I always stop by when in the area <3

Old schools Italian Cafe at its finest. You won't find any "3rd wave" on the premises. Just good folks slanging quality coffee.

dunno what happened to this original listing as they had hundreds of reviews...anyway, little caffè off the beaten track that's been a fixture of little italy for close to 40 years now. here you'll find typical North American roast, bitter and full of chocolate. they use fantini beans.also, in the back, you can find the social part of the caffè which is 18+ as they sell alcohol and you can find slot machines. the caffè shared the space with Inferno next door, also from the same owner. mind you, you can literally cross over by going through the bathroom. no wifi in itself but you get access through a Facebook login.opens early like any Italian cafés but closes very late, 3am, because it doubles as a bar in the back.you can find authentic Italian baked goods from Mr. Biscotti. no cannoli. and during summer, their iced coffee will give you nightmares as it is probably the most potent beverage you'll ever get. it's a double shot iced coffee
